This notice describes privacy-relevant features of MyCasinoScout.com, including WordPress accounts, Google sign-in and measurement, Watchers chat, email preferences and outbound affiliate tracking. For privacy enquiries, email partners@mycasinoscout.com with “Privacy enquiry” in the subject line.
Accounts and email verification
The registration form asks for a username, email address and password. It also includes an optional newsletter checkbox and an age/terms confirmation. Registration information is processed to establish an account and send an email-verification link. The account system records verification status and the newsletter preference.
The website uses WordPress accounts. Account and session information supports sign-in and access to account-dependent features. Keep passwords private and do not include them in email enquiries, public messages or chat.
Google sign-in
Google sign-in is offered as an alternative account-access method. If you choose it, review the identity information and permissions shown by Google before continuing. Google processes information under its own Privacy Policy. This website does not ask you to send your Google password to its contact email.
Google measurement and analytics
Public pages load a Google measurement tag through the Site Kit integration. Measurement technology can process information about page visits, referral sources, browser or device characteristics, online identifiers and interactions. The events and identifiers involved depend on the tag and browser configuration.
The tag is loaded as part of page delivery. This notice does not claim that all measurement is held back until you consent, that no cookies are used, or that measurement data is anonymous. See how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services for Google’s explanation. Browser cookie controls can affect tracking but do not necessarily stop every request or erase information already processed.
Watchers chat and message counts
The site integrates Watchers chat using services at chat.watchers.io and chatbackend.watchers.io. The signed-in chat integration uses a website user identifier to associate the chat session with an account. Messages and other information you submit through chat are handled by the chat service and may be visible to other participants or moderators.
The chat badge also requests message counts from Watchers on page load and at intervals. These requests can occur before you open the chat window. Like other web requests, they expose network and request information to the receiving service.
The badge uses browser local storage named watchers_last_seen_1234 to remember the last-seen message count. This supports the unread-message indicator. Clearing site storage can reset that indicator. For provider information, see Watchers’ published privacy information; contact us for questions about the embedded service’s handling of your account or chat data.
Contact and email preferences
Messages sent to the website contact address include your email address and whatever information you choose to provide. That information is used to understand and respond to the enquiry. The registration form records whether the newsletter option was selected; registration and verification emails have a different purpose from marketing.
If you receive marketing messages, use any unsubscribe instructions provided or contact us about your preference. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or cryptocurrency recovery phrases in an initial request.
Affiliate tracking and external websites
Some outbound links contain affiliate, campaign, source or click identifiers and send visitors through third-party tracking domains before reaching another website. Following such a link can expose request information, including network and browser details, to those services and allow an interaction to be attributed to a referral.
Third-party tracking and destination websites can use their own cookies or other technologies and have their own privacy notices. MyCasinoScout may receive compensation for attributed activity. See the Affiliate Disclosure. This notice does not claim that every outbound link shares the same data or that MyCasinoScout receives a visitor’s complete activity from another service.
Cookies, local storage and service providers
Account/session features, Google measurement and embedded third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies. The Watchers last-seen storage item described above is a confirmed example of browser storage. This is not a complete cookie inventory.
Website delivery, account administration, email handling, Google features and Watchers chat involve the relevant technical services. A provider’s public privacy page does not establish this website’s contractual role, storage region or retention settings. Those details are not specified here where they have not been verified.
Retention and processing details
This notice does not set out verified retention periods for account records, pending registrations, email correspondence, chat, analytics, tracking records or backups. To ask about a particular category, its recipients, processing location or basis of use, email the website contact address and identify the feature concerned.
This is a description of the integrations and features identified on the site, not a complete record of all data-processing arrangements. It does not assert EU-only storage, automatic deletion periods or consent safeguards that have not been confirmed.
Your requests and choices
Depending on the law and processing that apply, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, receive portable information or withdraw consent. Send requests concerning MyCasinoScout to partners@mycasinoscout.com. Information needed to identify the relevant account or request may be required; do not send sensitive identity documents in an initial email.
You can also manage cookies and local storage in your browser. Restricting them can affect sign-in and chat features. Requests about information submitted directly to another website should be addressed to that provider. Where applicable, you may raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
Children and gambling-related harm
The site’s gambling-related content is intended for adults. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us without including unnecessary information about the child. Our Responsible Gambling page provides independent support resources.
